Spring Hills Arts Gathering Highlights Work Of Formerly Incarcerated Artists In Special Exhibition

The Spring Hill Arts Gathering in Washington, Connecticut, will feature the special exhibition, “Systemic Impact: Process and Experimentation of (Formerly) Incarcerated Artists,” August 6th through the 8th, as part of their larger festival. Spring Hill Arts Gathering produces public programs, with the goal of illuminating diverse perspectives through collaborations and conversations while in nature. The show is a capsule of an exhibition curated by Dr. Nicole R. Fleetwood that was on view at MoMAPS1 in 2020.

Dr. Fleetwood is an inaugural James Weldon Johnson Professor at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, as well as the author of the award-winning, “Making Time:
