The first time Mark Brown saw Prince face to face, he cooked him a batch of pancakes. 

At the time, the high schooler was working at a restaurant called the Town Crier, when the mysterious singer came in for a bite. Throughout the meal, Brown peered over the counter to try to get a glimpse of the local rockstar, but they never spoke a word to each other.
