The world’s highest-paid athlete in 2021 is ready for combat Saturday night in Las Vegas. Conor McGregor (22-5) is a slight underdog to Dustin Poirier (27-6) ahead of their third meeting after Poirier knocked out money McGregor in January.
When UFC president Dana White made the UFC 264 media announcement of the lightweight fight in April, McGregor was a slight favorite from -115 to as high as -126 at FanDuel Sportsbook.
“I’m throwing kill shots now,” McGregor says. “I’m going to kill this man.”
