One of travel’s most dedicated verticals, cruising, has been battling to survive since the initial infections onboard cruises were publicized and the Covid-19 pandemic spread worldwide.
Cruisers however are some of the world’s most die-hard travelers as the booking rates for recent sailings show. According to cruising.org, “There is reason for hope and optimism.” About 74% of cruisers are likely to cruise in the next few years. 66% of cruisers are willing to cruise in the next year, and 58% of first-time cruisers are willing to test out their sea legs in the next few years.
