In late 2017, General Motors was the first automaker to launch a hands-free driver assist system beginning with the Cadillac CT6. However, until the last few months, the big Cadillac sedan which ended production in early 2020, was the only car to offer the feature. That situation is now changing rapidly as the Cadillac Escalade, CT-4, CT-5 and Chevrolet Bolt EUV all offer Super Cruise as part of a plan to offer it on more than 20 models in the next two years. When the refreshed 2022 GM GM C Sierra pickup arrives it will take the system to a whole new level.
