Party looks of the week from the Tribeca Ball, a screening of “Russian Doll” and Flipper’s in Rockefeller Center.
Dust off those roller skates. Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace, a 1970s skating rink from Los Angeles, opened at Rockefeller Center with a party on April 14. Usher and Liberty Ross, whose father opened the original, invited a bevy of famous friends including Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre and Patti Smith. Not everyone skated.
The New York Academy of Art, the art school founded by Andy Warhol and others, honored Kenny Scharf at its Tribeca Ball on Tuesday. Notable guests included Francesco Clemente, Brooke Shields and Helena Christensen.
