A Watch Master and a Watch Mastermind Thrive Together

In November, when the master Philippe Dufour announced a collaboration with the well-known retailer and collector Claude Sfeir, many in the watch world wondered what it actually meant. Would more Dufour watches suddenly become available? Would they be more expensive? Or less?

And photos of the two men on mountain bikes in the hilly pathways of Le Solliat, the village 40 miles north of Geneva where Mr. Dufour has his workshop, only heightened the curiosity.
